without strings

The Diva's challenge this wee is to do a tile without a string (a pattern laid out to fill in)
I started with a mooka and everything else grew out from it. there is Socc, bead lines and zingers. I dont know the name of the pebble-y pattern. This was a challenge, but fun,too

tribute to Mickey & Minnie

this weeks Diva challenge is a tribute to Mickey & Minnie.  The new tangle is "M's" upside down and right side up (the red and cream path here. I also used polka dots from Minnie's dress,  the large black ovals are their eyes and the black "spikes" in the middle are Minnie's lashes.

Beads of Courage--this weeks challenge from The Diva

this is an organization the gives beads to children with chronic illnesses-a bead for each "event" in their journey. It could be a test or surgery or any scary thing they have to endure.
this zen tile is to recognize the org.  and to celebrate Artoo's 2nd birthday.
I was so intent on getting the beads just right, I really didnt do any tangles at all. I'll try to get back to it and add some later

Pinwheel for Peace-zen

The challenge this week from The Diva is a pinwheel for Peace.
the large striped arms of the pinwheel remind me of flags flying for Peace. The small arms are Star of David, which always reminds me of Peace. and the circles are all the peoples of the world-awaiting Peace
