long time ,no blog

well, it has been an interesting winter and summer,to say the least.
i havent had internet here in ariz., and have moved 3 times-the art supplies are a mess.
hoping to get settled, and back to some regular art stuff soon.
becky is in mich. clearing out 26 years of stuff, so we can relocate here in the fall.

this is a series I did from an old article I found in a National Geo.

it is called "Rediscovering America's forgotten crops". Some are familiar like jojoba,and some I never heard of. Fun project anyway

these are pages in a round robin i am in. the theme is alphabet. i did "E" & "P"

E for encaustic-pigment in bees wax applied with a hot iron-very fun to play with.

the "P" is purple , with an interactive element-that was fun,too.

any suggestions for my photography? it is out of focus,but i dont know how to correct it. thanks

not my usual style at all. this is very loose with little contrast-almost a study sketched for a later painting. but, it was quick and fun
