this challenge was to use non traditional bases. I used tin foil for the encaustics, and roller shade samples for the asian themed ones

the little one is for a swap called "the object at hand"-had to use all nontraditional materials.

the mostly green one is encaustic--called "Forest stream"

this is our dog Pudge. the swap is Glasses,Glasses

and, he says

"Its all a blur without my....."

the last is watercolor-for a swap called "roses for summer'
